Prime Hospitality Group Names Stacy Hiquet Chief People Officer

Date:

Prime Hospitality Group has appointed Stacy Hiquet as chief people officer as the Indianapolis-based hospitality company expands its multistate portfolio of restaurants, specialty concepts and hotel properties.

In the newly announced role, Hiquet will oversee PHG’s human resources strategy, talent development and organizational culture. Her responsibilities will include developing the leadership systems and teams needed to support the company’s continued expansion while maintaining its core organizational values.

“As PHG continues to grow, investing in our people and building the right leadership infrastructure is essential to our long term success,” said Kristy Rans, president of Prime Hospitality Group. “Stacy brings valuable experience in developing teams, strengthening culture and supporting organizations through growth.”

Hiquet brings experience spanning human resources, talent development, training, operations and business leadership. Most recently, she served as vice president of human resources and talent development at DuraMark Technologies, where her work included team leadership, employee development and workplace culture.

She also has experience working with the Entrepreneurial Operating System, or EOS, which she has used as a framework for team development, accountability and communication. Throughout her career, Hiquet has focused on aligning organizational culture and employee development with broader business objectives.

Her appointment comes as PHG continues to build the leadership and organizational infrastructure supporting a hospitality portfolio that extends across several business categories and U.S. markets.

Headquartered in Indianapolis, Prime Hospitality Group is a family-owned company operating restaurants, hotels, bars and cafés.

Its restaurant portfolio includes 13 Ruth’s Chris Steak House franchise locations across the Midwest and Southeast. PHG is also a franchisee and operator of Marriott hotel properties and plans to add Hilton-branded properties.

The company has developed and operates its own hospitality concepts as well, including The Exchange, Brasserie 23 and Un Deux Trois Café.

As PHG expands those businesses, Hiquet will be responsible for developing the people strategy needed to support a larger organization, with an emphasis on leadership development, talent management, communication and company culture.

The appointment represents another investment in PHG’s corporate leadership structure as the company works to support long-term growth across its restaurant, specialty brand and hotel operations.
